Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai took a jab at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday, accusing her of shielding "bogus voters" from Bangladesh to secure her win in the West Bengal Assembly elections 2026.
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ravi Kishan has fiercely criticised the Trinamool Congress (TMC) opposition to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in West Bengal, alleging it's a ploy to shield "bogus voters", including a large Bangladeshi influx.
Talking to media persons, Naidu said that the Election Commission should take the "irregularities" in the voter lists in the Chandragiri Assembly segment as a case study.
