A fire erupted in the two coaches of the Tata - Ernakulam Express near Elamanchilin town, Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh, officials said on Monday.
At least seven people were injured on Tuesday after a blast took place on a railway track that derailed four bogies of the Jaffar Express in Sindh's Shikarpur district, Dawn reported citing officials.
Railway authorities confirmed that six bogies derailed following the explosion, with one carriage overturning, resulting in several injuries among the travellers inside, as reported by Dawn.
A bomb blast in Balochistan's Mastung district derailed six bogies of the Jaffar Express, but no casualties were reported. Security forces responded quickly, and train services remain suspended until August 14. This follows a series of attacks targeting the region's railway infrastructure.
