Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met former Andhra Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
"In the entire world, the people knew that PM Modi would come as the Prime Minister for the third time. The country expected and the people expected that Narendra Modi will become the PM," Harichandan said.
Speaking to ANI on Sunday, the Chhattisgarh Governor said, "I was overwhelmed with joy when I heard that the Bharat Ratna has been awarded to the great leader LK Advani ji. He is a contribution to the country as an administrator, former deputy prime minister and home minister."
Governor Harichandan took the salute of the joint parade on the occasion in which a total of 16 platoons participated and extended greetings to the people of the state on the 75th Republic Day of India.
