The Supreme Court on Thursday asked Uttar Pradesh BJP spokesperson and advocate Prashant Umrao to tender an unconditional apology for allegedly posting a "fake" video about the 'attack' against Bihari migrant workers in Tamil Nadu.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday granted transit anticipatory bail to Uttar Pradesh's BJP spokesperson Prashant Umrao till March 20, 2023, in an FIR recently lodged by Tamil Nadu Police against him for allegedly posting a "fake" video about the 'attack' on Bihar migrants in Tamil Nadu.

Paswan said, "If the Bihar CM would have worked for the betterment of my state (Bihar) then they would have been working in our own state and not migrated. It's because of the lack of opportunity in my state. The only person responsible for this particular scenario is our CM Nitish Kumar."
Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) JS Gangwar on Friday informed that the Tamil Nadu Police has said that videos circulating on social media showing alleged attacks on migrant labourers in the state were "false" and "misleading".
