The Assam government decided to create 72 temporary posts at Senior Grade-I (SG-I) of Assam Civil Services to accommodate 72 ACS officers to strengthen the organizational structure of various departments and increase administrative efficiency, said officials on Wednesday.
As per the notification issued by the Assam state government's Home (A) department, 43 APS officers have been transferred and posted in different posts in different state districts.
