Amid the controversy around the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP president, N Chandrababu Naidu, in connection with the alleged skill development scam, party spokesperson Prem Kumar Jain on Sunday called it a well-planned conspiracy.
The Telugu Desham Party (TDP) has called for a state-wide 'Bandh' tomorrow protesting against the arrest of party chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, an official statement said on Sunday.
Talking to ANI, Jain said that the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRPC), which itself is accused of ‘looting’ Rs 44000 crore, is alleging Chandrababu of corruption, who was not even served with an arrest warrant in the 45 years of his political career.
According to sources, Naidu was brought by a team of the Central Investigative Department (CID) to the hospital and is expected to be produced before the magistrate.
“Today is a dark day for the people of Andhra Pradesh. A day when democracy was mocked. We condemn the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu,” Former state minister and TDP leader, Kondru Murali Mohan, said while speaking to ANI.
