Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Andalib Elias emphasised the importance of mutual trust and respect between the leaders, stating that such camaraderie strengthens the overall relationship between neighbouring countries.
Ahead of the G20 Summit in New Delhi, Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner, Andalib Elias said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the G20 Summit on September 9 and 10.
Bangladesh Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Hasan Mahmud, on Thursday, inaugrated Bangladesh Fifth Film Festival and said that the increase in exchange of cultural activities and groups will strengthen ties between both countries.
"Since 2017, we've been observing this day as genocide day of Bangladesh. We've been pursuing 2 things from UN, to declare this as world genocide day and recognition of what happened in Bangladesh in 1971 as a genocide," Elias said.
Speaking to ANI, Bangladesh's Deputy High Commissioner to India Andalib Elias said, "It will be easy for people to go to station & get any information about Visas. We are planning to provide tourism information to whoever wants to visit Bangladesh as a tourist."
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Elias said, "Absolutely, we have already been invited to attend the received the info that will be invited to take part in the G20 summit next year that will be hosted by India. We are very happy and honoured that we will be invited there."
