Session Court on Tuesday granted bail to Shankar Mishra, an accused of allegedly urinating on a woman on board an Air India flight from New York to New Delhi on November 26 last year.
The Additional Sessions Judge Harjyot Singh Bhalla on Friday adjourned the matter and noted that Investigation Officer is not present. Complainant Lady's Lawyer wasn't supplied with a copy of the plea, Court noted.
Mishra had allegedly urinated on a 70-year-old woman in an intoxicated condition in business class of an Air India flight from New York to New Delhi on November 26 last year.
Air India banned Shankar Mishra, accused of urinating on an elder woman mid-way on an Air India flight for four months, an Air India official told ANI on Thursday.
The advocate retorted to the claim that Mishra urinated in such a manner in which the passenger sitting next to the victim wasn't affected and said that the allegations do not make sense.
Reacting furiously to Shankar Mishra's claim, Padma Awardee Shovana Narayan said that Air India pee-gate accused is "trying to create a diversion" from his act that he "outraged a woman's modesty".
