Vastrapur Police Inspector L L Chavda said that after receiving information about the threat emails, immediate steps were taken to ensure the safety of students and staff. Security agencies were alerted and inspections were launched.
In a development to the Ahmedabad schools bomb threat case, the crime branch has uncovered a Pakistani link to the bomb threats that targeted at least 14 schools in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.
This comes days after multiple schools in Delhi recieved bomb threats. According to the Delhi police, a total of 131 schools recieved threat emails on May 1.
