An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) rejected the plea for bail of forcefully abducted Ahmed Farhad Shah. The court while rejecting the plea commented that the legal points stated by his counsel did not apply to the case at hand, Dawn reported.

The Islamabad High Court on Monday heard a petition demanding the safe recovery of the missing writer and poet Ahmed Farhad Shah, filed by his wife Ain Naqvi, ARY News reported.
Ahmed Farhad Shah was allegedly abducted from his home on Wednesday. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan had called on the authorities for his immediate release.
