The 108 emergency ambulance services were started in Odisha on March 5, 2013, and till now 624 ambulances are providing free services to the people of 30 districts across the state. Along with this, 6 boat ambulances are also working.
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 12 (ANI): Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday inaugurated 120 advanced life support ambulances which have been added under the Arogya Kavacha-108 (Emergency Medical Services) in Bengaluru.
New Delhi [India], June 20 (ANI): Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Thursday said that eight additional Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances have been deployed to transport the patients in the districts affected with Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and Japanese Encephalitis (JE).
