The Rouse Avenue Court on Monday reserved a judgment in a 1984 Sikh riots case against former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar. This case is linked to FIRs registered with the Janakpuri and Vikas Puri Police Stations.

The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Wednesday directed the Prosecution to file written submissions in a 1984 Sikh riots case against former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar.
A 2012 sting operation conducted by Manjit Singh GK, former president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), was presented as evidence. In the sting, Tytler allegedly admitted to killing 100 Sikhs and boasted about his power.
The Rouse Avenue Court Convicted Former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar for rioting, offence of murder, being a member of unlawful assembly and other offences. The court held that Sajjan Kumar was instigating the mob that killed the Father-Son duo in the Saraswati Vihar area on November 1, 1984.
Tytler, who recently appeared before the trial court, pleaded not guilty to these charges. He has now approached the High Court, against charges framed against him in connection with the riots.

The counsel for the accused told the court that the certified copies of the case file had not been supplied. This case pertains to the killing in Pul Bangash Gurudwara in 1984.
