Iran's UN envoy rejected a Security Council resolution, calling it an "unjust and unlawful" document that serves political agendas. He defended Iran's military response as a "right to self-defence" following the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei and strikes on civilian infrastructure, urging full accountability for the aggressors.

Iran's UN Ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, has condemned the US-Israeli "war of aggression" for creating a grave situation for civilians. Reportedly, strikes have hit urban centres, schools, and hospitals, killing 1,332 people. Tehran has urged the Security Council to take urgent measures to halt the ongoing military campaign.

Two persons were murdered in Bogura and Cox's Bazar, on March 6 and March 7, while crude bombs were thrown at a Hindu temple in Cumilla city during a puja on March 8, triggering significant panic, as per rights group the Bangladesh Jatio Hindu Mohajote (Bangladesh National Grand Alliance).

The UAE Ministry of Defence reported intercepting a major Iranian aerial attack involving ballistic missiles and drones. Since the February 28 killing of Ayatollah Khamenei, over 1,600 projectiles have targeted the UAE, resulting in four deaths and 112 injuries. Authorities remain on high alert to protect national sovereignty.

Iran and regional allies launched "Operation True Promise 4," conducting 27 waves of missile and drone strikes against US and Israeli military targets. The retaliatory offensive, reported by Press TV, struck bases in Kuwait, Iraq, and the occupied territories following the killing of the former Supreme Leader.
