Pennsylvania Police starts probe into 'attack plan' on vote-counting center

US President Donald Trump addressed affordability concerns in Pennsylvania, promoting his tariff strategy and economic record while highlighting investment growth. He also made political claims about past election wins and began a series of economic-focused trips ahead of next year's midterms.

Unlike ceremonies celebrating allies like Ukraine or Taiwan, the Philadelphia event paid tribute to what The Epoch Times described as "a genocidal regime" and "history's greatest threat to the United States and to democracy." The Chinese national flag was raised with the participation of a counselor from the Chinese Consulate General in New York--an office previously linked to espionage and political influence operations, according to the Epoch Times report.

Rushan Abbas, head of Campaign for Uyghurs, urged Philadelphia's mayor to cancel a planned Chinese flag-raising on September 30. Citing her sister's imprisonment and CCP abuses, she warned the event would legitimise atrocities and called for standing with victims of tyranny instead of authoritarian propaganda.

Trump has survived two assassination attempts in less than a year. In July last year, a sniper's bullet grazed his ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. More recently, a gunman described as a supporter of Ukraine opened fire near Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, TASS reported.
