United States President Donald Trump

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], Oct 24 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday termed Saudi Arabia's attempt to hide journalist Jamal Khashoggi's killing as "worst cover-up ever".
The Hill quoted Trump as saying, "They had a very bad original concept, it was carried out poorly and the cover-up was the worst in the history of cover-ups. They had the worst cover-up ever."
Addressing the alleged plot of killing Khashoggi, Trump said, "Whoever thought of that idea I think is in big trouble and they should be in big trouble."
This comes after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's said that Khashoggi's murder was planned on the direction from top officials rejecting the Saudi explanation of his death occurring due to a brawl within the consular premises.
Khashoggi, who had gone to Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, was allegedly killed inside the consular premises. However, Saudi officials have been maintaining that the journalist died after a brawl inside the consulate. (ANI)
