Tunisian President appoints new Prime Minister

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of Tunisia over the victims of floods following heavy rainfall, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries and caused substantial damage.

Several Tunisian opposition leaders, including Jawhar Ben Mbarek, have begun a hunger strike to protest his detention since February 2023. The United Nations Security Council has added five individuals from Libya, Tunisia, Kuwait, and Tajikistan to its international sanctions list for their involvement in financing, recruiting, and supporting ISIS and al-Qaeda operations, Khaama Press reported.

The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) revealed that last week it eliminated the terrorist Salah al-Din Za'ara, who served as the deputy commander of the Al-Furqan Battalion in the Hamas terror organization. Za'ara was killed on July 24, 2025.
