Six killed as plane crashes into house in Chile

Puerto Montt [Chile], Apr 17 (ANI): A plane belonging to the air company Archipielagos crashed into a house here on Tuesday (local time), killing all six people on board, according to the Chilean civil aviation.

Puerto Montt [Chile], Apr 17 (ANI): A plane belonging to the air company Archipiélagos crashed into a house here on Tuesday (local time), killing all six people on board, according to the Chilean civil aviation.
Quoting sources, Sputnik reported that there could have been more people on board the ill-fated Islander BN-2B-27.
Speaking on the crash, Puerto Montt Mayor Harry Jurgensen revealed that the mishap took place shortly after the plane took off. He confirmed that the pilot and five passengers were killed in the tragedy.
There are reports that a woman was injured as a result of the crash, as she was hit by parts of the fuselage. While her condition is not life-threatening, she has been hospitalised with broken legs and bruises.
The reason behind the crash is not known yet. It is also not known if the black box has been retrieved. The authorities are yet to reveal if there was anybody in the house at the time of the crash. (ANI)
