Turkey: Three injured after explosion near courthouse in Izmir

Two persons were murdered in Bogura and Cox's Bazar, on March 6 and March 7, while crude bombs were thrown at a Hindu temple in Cumilla city during a puja on March 8, triggering significant panic, as per rights group the Bangladesh Jatio Hindu Mohajote (Bangladesh National Grand Alliance).

US President Donald Trump on Saturday (US local time) claimed that the United States had wiped off the entire leadership in Iran and called the actions as getting rid of a major 'cancer' off the face of earth. When asked whether the United States was responsible for the bombing of an elementary girls' school in Iran, Trump flat out denied the allegations and instead called Iran of bombing the school slating inaccuracy of Iranian weapons as a reason.

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has attacked US President, accusing him of bombing Iran out of spite.

The Embassy of India in Doha announced that regular consular services would remain suspended on March 2 due to the "prevailing security situation."

Ahmad Vahidi, a former Quds Force commander wanted by Interpol since 2007 for the 1994 AMIA bombing in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people, was appointed deputy chief of Iran's armed forces general staff in October 2025. Vahidi has previously served as Iran's Minister of Defense and Interior.

In a post on X, he said, "Today's military strikes on Iran -- carried out by the United States and Israel -- mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace."

Iran Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Saturday said that the US and Israel's attack against his country is "unprovoked, illegal and absolutely illegitimate.

"All Member States must respect their obligations under international law, including the Charter of the UN. The Charter clearly prohibits "the threat of the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations," he wrote on X.

The Indian Embassy in Qatar has issued an advisory in wake of the current regional situation and advised all Indian nationals to take due car and follow news. It further informed that the Embassy continues to function as usual.

In a post on X, he said," The Pakistani aircraft once again bombed Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. The Afghans will defend their beloved homeland with complete unity in all circumstances and will respond to aggression with courage...."
