Turkey: 18 detained for suspected ISIS links

The Embassy of India in Doha announced that regular consular services would remain suspended on March 2 due to the "prevailing security situation."

More than 80 people were killed in Pakistan's airstrikes at the seven locations in Afghanistan's Nangarhar, Paktika and Khost provinces.

The push for renewed diplomacy comes after weeks of escalatory rhetoric between Washington and Tehran. Nearly 94,000 Afghan families have returned from Iran, Turkey and Pakistan in three months, with most coming from Pakistan. While aid has been provided, returnees report mistreatment, and activists urge sustainable reintegration as daily arrivals continue to rise.

The UAE reopened the Sheikh Zayed Child Care Complex in Istanbul after renovation, strengthening humanitarian ties with Turkiye. Rebuilt by Zayed Charitable Foundation, the facility now supports about 700 children with healthcare, education, and social services, reflecting the UAE's people-first development vision.

Terming the European Union's decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation a "strategic miscalculation," the Iranian Ambassador to India, Dr. Mohammad Fathali, has warned that such moves ignore the "realities on the ground" and violate international law.

Iran has economic problems due to sanctions against it and some people are angry "but other people use this opportunity to reach their target and achieve their aims", Dr Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, Representative of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has said and noted that the situation at the moment "is very good, under control" and is not like what is being mentioned on some some social media handles.
