Sindh has been victim of Pakistan's war mongering: Sindhi Congress

Geneva [Switzerland], Mar. 15 (ANI): The Sindhi Congress on Wednesday said that Sindh has been the victim of Pakistan's war mongering and Islamist agenda from day one of formation of Islamabad. "From day one of formation of Pakistan, Sindh's indigenous heritage and culture has been invalidated by the Pakistani ruling elites through systematic ways," Rubina Greenwood, Chairman, World Sindhi Congress said at the 34th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Rubina further said that the Hindu population in Sindh was forcefully exiled and the youth systematically radicalised through madrasas which teach hatred and violence. "Sindh today, sees a systematic persecution of the Hindus, Christians and other sects of Islam. The further economic and political marginalisation of Sindhi people including forced disappearance, killing of Sindhi human rights campaigners continues," she added. Slamming Pakistan's intentions of making fallacious references about situation of minorities in India, New Delhi on Wednesday said not only has Islamabad become a terrorism factory but has also alienated its own people through continued mistreatment of religious minorities. Putting its foot down heavily, India said minorities in the country have been Prime Ministers, Presidents, Vice-Presidents, senior Cabinet Ministers, senior civil servants, cricket team captains, Bollywood superstars, questioning if the minorities of Pakistan claim even a shadow of this. "Apart from becoming world's terrorism factory, Pakistan has also alienated its own people through continued mistreatment of Hindus, Christians, Shias, Ahmadiyas and other minorities," India responded to Pakistan at the 34th session of United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
