‘Saudi Arabia understands India’s concerns on terrorism, real-time intel sharing to help curb it’

New Delhi (India), Feb 21 (ANI): During the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the Arab country has understood the concerns of India on terrorism and has extended support in terms of real-time sharing of intelligence in a structured manner.

New Delhi (India), Feb 21 (ANI): During the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the Arab country has understood the concerns of India on terrorism and has extended support in terms of real-time sharing of intelligence in a structured manner.
Saudi Arabia has shared India’s concerns on terrorism and they have condemned and denounced it. Riyadh also shares New Delhi’s concerns on the issue and have offered to share real-time intelligence on the matter with India, sources said on Thursday.
The sources further stated that the two countries have also agreed on having a structured talk on security issues at the level of National security advisors (NSA) who would be working together on the issue.
The Saudis have also offered to enhance the maritime security cooperation in the region where both sides can be security providers, they said.
The sources said the matter related to the Pulwama attack was also taken up during the meeting between the two sides.
Saudi Arabia is also going to invest USD 100 billion in the Indian market including a plan to invest in 40 projects worth USD 26 billion discussed between the Niti Aayog and their Saudi counterpart, sources added.
Navies of India and Saudi Arabia will also hold exercises together where warships would be earmarked and a proper drill would be held, unlike the passage exercises which were being held till now.
The Haj quota for Indians has also been enhanced to two lakhs from the existing 1.75 lakh and the Saudi government has also agreed to release 850 Indians languishing in the jails. (ANI)
