Jerusalem prepares events for massive visitation over Passover holiday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday interacted with the members of Indian Jewish community in Israel and appreciated their remarkable contributions to the country. He called them a living bridge between the two countries.

"We are already implementing a large number of projects for the benefit of Palestinian communities, to the extent of nearly $170 million. There are also about $40 million worth of projects in the pipeline, in the areas of education, healthcare, capacity building, and others," he detailed. Beyond these current projects, India remains prepared to scale its engagement in alignment with international peace efforts.

Addressing the media in Jerusalem at the conclusion of PM Modi's visit, Misri noted that while the project remains a priority, "the regional situation does weigh on the progress of the initiative," as stable ties among participating corridor nations are essential for its success.
