Istanbul: 23 suspected PKK terrorists arrested

The Embassy of India in Doha announced that regular consular services would remain suspended on March 2 due to the "prevailing security situation."

In an interview with ANI, Solaimankhil dismissed claims that recent airstrikes targeted only militants, asserting that civilians were the primary victims.

Cross-border clashes between Afghanistan and Pakistan escalated sharply on Friday, with Islamabad declaring "open war" on Kabul after carrying out airstrikes in parts of Kabul, Kandahar and Paktia, further intensifying tensions between the two neighbouring countries.

Operation Herof was earlier announced by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) as a coordinated offensive targeting Pakistani security facilities across several locations in Balochistan, including Noshki, Turbat, and Gwadar. Pakistani authorities have not issued comprehensive official casualty figures related to the incidents.

UNAMA and Amnesty report civilian casualties following Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan's Nangarhar and Paktika provinces. While Islamabad claims the "precise" strikes "neutralised" 70 militants linked to TTP and Daesh, the UN mission confirms 13 civilians killed and calls for an immediate end to hostilities to protect lives.
