Tel Aviv [Israel], February 26 (ANI): Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharren Haskel condemned the actions of Hamas after the Bibas family was paraded across Gaza, calling it a "disgusting savagery."
Speaking from Jerusalem, Haskel called the act equivalent to an "evil, medieval punishment."
"As you are aware, over the weekend Hamas returned the bodies of the Bibas family and we received confirmation that they were murdered in cold blood, by Hamas monsters, with their bare hands," she stated.

She further said, "Initially, Hamas returned a coffin containing a body that wasn't Shiri Bibas."
Haskel added that Gazans brought their children to witness the parade of coffins.
"Gazan civilians brought their children to watch the terrorists parade Israeli coffins - reminiscent of some sort of evil, medieval punishment. What sort of savages kill innocent babies and their mum and then parade their coffins in public? This is truly disgusting savagery," she said.
Haskel condoled the deaths of the Bibas family and said that she was attending the funeral of another slain Israeli.
"I send my profound condolences to the Bibas family. May the memory of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir be a blessing. I am today attending the funeral of Oded Lifshitz, may his memory be a blessing," she said.
Haskel, while speaking about the Israel-EU Association Council Meeting in Brussels between Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar and EU foreign ministers, said that Sa'ar insisted on the 'Pay-for-slay' policy for the EU. This means that the EU must make sure that none of their funds are used for the Hamas terrorists.
"For the first time in years, the Israel-EU Association Council Meeting convened. This is the highest forum for managing Israel-EU relations, reinforcing Israel's strategic partnership with the EU, Israel's largest trading partner. We urged the EU to take action against the Palestinian Authority's "Pay-for-Slay" policy, ensuring that EU funds do not support payments to terrorists and their families. As Abu Mazen (President of Palestine) declared last week even till our last dime we will continue to pay the prisoners."
Haskel, while talking about the Muslim festival of Ramadan, said that Israel will make sure that the freedom to worship will remain for people of all faiths.
"Israel remains committed to ensuring freedom of worship for all faiths. Access will be maintained to the Temple Mount for Muslim worship during Ramadan, based on the same guidelines as in every other year, despite Hamas, Iran and other terror groups spreading false claims to incite violence," she said. Mojtaba Khamenei calls on Muslim neighbours to clarify stance

"The countries of the region must clarify their stance regarding the aggressors against our dear homeland and the killers of our people. I recommend that they shut down those bases as soon as possible; for they must surely have realized by now that America's claim of establishing security and peace has been nothing but a lie," he said.
