Meddling Pak Army bent on crushing voice of nation's citizens:MQM

London [United Kingdom], Jan.24 (ANI): A meddling Pakistan military establishment is hell bent on crushing the voices of the nation's citizens, the self-exiled Muttahida Qami Movement leadership has said in London.

In a recent interaction with the Express Tribune, MQM founder Altaf Hussain accused the Pakistan Army of pursuing actions that were by nature "discriminatory, tyrannical and cruel."

He maintained that "state atrocities" have crossed all limits and the military establishment's meddling in affairs of political parties, which would be detrimental for Pakistan in the long term.

"Military officials are corrupt and are responsible for the division of Pakistan by their tyrant actions. They are the ones who are destroying the country. People from all walks of life should take to the streets to protest against these draconian actions of the military establishment, ISI and its different wings...." Hussain told the Express Tribune.

Rejecting the allegation that he was a R &AW or a Mossad agent, Hussain said, "The military establishment has deviated from its assigned constitutional work of defending the boundaries of the country."

"The military establishment and the ISI have a mindset to be friend with those who trade their principles and act against the call of their conscience," he claimed.

He also said that it is a historical fact that the judiciary has always supported the military establishment under the law of necessity.

"The military establishment and the ISI have to roll back their designs and stop meddling in the country's political and administrative matters," he concluded. (ANI)
