ICJ asks Pakistan to review conviction, sentencing of Jadhav

The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, will hold public hearings in the case concerning allegations of genocide against Myanmar over its treatment of the Rohingya community in January 2026.

The resolution appealed to US President Donald J. Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to use their good offices and global influence to promote dialogue and help facilitate a peaceful settlement of the dispute between Thailand and Cambodia.

India reiterated its support for Traditional Medicine at the WHO Global Summit, with Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav engaging global leaders and countries. The summit focused on research, regulation and integration of Traditional Medicine, aligning with WHO's 2025-2034 strategy, with PM Modi to attend the closing ceremony.

Afghan Public Health Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali held a meeting with MoS Prataprao Jadhav to discuss enhancing cooperation in traditional medicine systems between India and Afghanistan. They also focused on exploring pathways for mutual cooperation in education, research, regulation, and healthcare delivery.

The agency warned that Palestinians are facing winter conditions with limited shelter as the conflict extends beyond two years.
