London [UK], Mar 28 (ANI): The British Parliament is set to debate on a motion related to Brexit on Friday, according to the Leader of the House of Commons, Andrea Leadsom.
While it has not been confirmed, this suggests that a meaningful vote - for the third time - on UK Prime Minister Theresa May's Withdrawal Agreement may take place tomorrow, according to CNN.
This comes after May announced that she would step down from her post if the deal negotiated by the Prime Minister with the European Union was passed by the Parliament. This announcement has been met with mixed reactions across political lines, with many still not ready to back the deal.
The British Parliament, on Thursday, also rejected all eight Brexit options, adding to the ongoing Brexit impasse.
On the one hand, May has called for the Parliament to back her deal. While on the other, calls for a second referendum are gaining momentum.
The British Prime Minister has previously quashed calls for a second public vote, showing her resolve to honour the 2016 referendum where more than 50 per cent of the British electorate voted to leave the EU. (ANI)
