At least 19 protesters arrested in Minsk on Sunday

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s attack near the compound of Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal in Khuzdar, alleging that five people, including a police officer, were killed in the operation, according to a report by The Balochistan Post.

The Human Rights Council of PoJK (HRC-PoJK) has expressed serious concern over the prolonged protests and unrest in PoJK, particularly in Rawalakot and the districts of Poonch and Sudhnooti, as the continued demonstrations have now completed 100 days.

EAM S Jaishankar held discussions with the foreign ministers of Nigeria, Cuba and Belarus on bilateral ties, economic cooperation, South-South cooperation and regional developments on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said in a statement that the attacks took place in Chagai, Surab, Awaran, Khuzdar, Rakhshan, Kech, Quetta and Barkhan. The BLF claimed that its fighters attacked the Talaran police station in the Baramcha area of Chagai on September 9, taking control of the premises, detaining police personnel and confiscating weapons, equipment and a vehicle.
