Angela Merkel demands immediate end to Turkish offensive in Syria

Iran and regional allies launched "Operation True Promise 4," conducting 27 waves of missile and drone strikes against US and Israeli military targets. The retaliatory offensive, reported by Press TV, struck bases in Kuwait, Iraq, and the occupied territories following the killing of the former Supreme Leader.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu announced that US-Israeli forces achieved "total dominance" over Iranian airspace during "Operation Rising Lion." He confirmed the elimination of Ayatollah Khamenei and hundreds of missile launchers, framing the offensive as a mission to neutralise Iran's nuclear threat and "change the face of the Middle East."

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi condemned the US-Israeli offensive against Iran, stating it should "never have happened." Calling for an "immediate" end to hostilities, Wang argued force "will never resolve" the crisis and noted a lack of popular support for regime change, urging a return to diplomacy.

The GCC condemned Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait as "dangerous acts of aggression." This follows the IRGC's "Operation True Promise 4," involving missile and drone strikes against US and Israeli targets in Haifa and Salman Port, which Tehran claims is retaliation for "unprovoked US-Israeli aggression."

The IDF struck IRGC fuel complexes in Tehran, claiming they support "military infrastructure." In response, the IRGC launched its 27th wave of "Operation True Promise 4," using solid-fuel missiles and drones against US and Israeli targets in Haifa, Bahrain, and beyond, amid escalating regional tensions.
