Turkish President rejects regime shift after referendum on constitutional amendments

The Embassy of India in Doha announced that regular consular services would remain suspended on March 2 due to the "prevailing security situation."

Trump's initiative seeks to bring together a cohort of countries to work on peace-building efforts under a charter that emphasises promoting stable governance and long-term peace in conflict-affected regions. Countries that commit $1 billion would secure permanent seats on the board, while those that do not pay could still join for a three-year term. proponents say the funds would be used to rebuild war-torn areas like Gaza and avoid "bureaucratic bloat" seen in other international institutions.

In a statement on Friday, the foreign ministers of Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan warned that worsening conditions in Gaza have left nearly 1.9 million displaced Palestinians extremely vulnerable.

Turkish President Erdogan condemned Israel's recognition of Somaliland as "illegitimate and unacceptable", warning it could destabilise the Horn of Africa. Somalia also criticised the move as illegal, while analysts said it threatens regional stability and could spread Middle East tensions into Africa.

Speaking to ANI after her demise in a video interview, he said, "She was the leader of a neighbouring country, and whatever might have been the problems between us in the past, and there have been difficult relations in the past, but Bangladesh is going through a different phase today.
