Trump suggests Senator Blumenthal to take 'nice long vacation in Vietnam'
New Delhi [India], August 8 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump has suggested Senator Richard Blumenthal to take a "nice long vacation in Vietnam" after the Connecticut Democrat accused him of trying to politicise the Justice Department. "I think Senator Blumenthal should take a nice long vacation in Vietnam, where he lied about his service, so he can at least say he was there," Trump tweeted.

I think Senator Blumenthal should take a nice long vacation in Vietnam, where he lied about his service, so he can at least say he was there
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2017
Blumenthal had earlier said that reviewing the Justice Department's policies was part of Trump's attempts to "politicize" the agency. Earlier in a series of tweets, Trump had said that Blumenthal's past misstatements about his military service should bar him from commenting on the ongoing Russia investigations. "Interesting to watch Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut talking about hoax Russian collusion when he was a phony Vietnam con artist!" Trump tweeted. "Never in U.S. history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal. He told stories about his Vietnam battles and conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?" Trump said in a series of tweets. Blumenthal reacted to Trump's tweets saying that the president's bullying hasn't worked before and it won't work now as no one is above the law.

Mr. President: Your bullying hasn't worked before and it won't work now. No one is above the law.
— Richard Blumenthal (@SenBlumenthal) August 7, 2017
 (ANI)
