Quetta [Pakistan], May 12 (ANI): The suspected facilitator of the Sehwan shrine bombing has been arrested by the intelligence agencies during an operation in Balochistan's Uthal area. The arrested suspect, identified as Tahir is accused of transporting the suicide bomber from Uthal to Sehwan. Police and intelligence agencies suspect him of having worked for Abdul Hafeez Pandrani, a leader of the Hafeez Brohi group affiliated with the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ). LeJ is reported to have joined Daesh. Tahir is also suspected for being the mastermind of the Sehwan bombing. At least 90 people were killed and several others injured in a suicide bomb attack at the shrine of the revered saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, Sindh on Freuary 16 this year. Six suspected facilitators were arrested by the intelligence agencies after the incident. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had earlier confessed there was inadequate security at the time of the deadly suicide attack at the shrine of Sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar as some VVIP had arrived at the shrine an hour before the attack and took security personnel with him.
