Sushma holds dialogue with Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rasit
New Delhi [India], August 14 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj held a meeting with visiting Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rasit O Meredov on Monday in New Delhi. Rasit O Meredov is on a three-day trip to India from August 13. Sushma also held delegation-level talks with Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Rasit O Meredov. There also signed the Protocol for the 6th Session of Inter Governmental Commission. Meredov will also hold a meeting with Union Minister of State (independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Turkmenistan in July 2015 at the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Both the leaders discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues. The Leaders welcomed the successful conclusion of the 5th meeting of the Turkmen-India Intergovernmental Joint Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation, held in Ashgabat on April 8, 2015(ANI)
