Kabul [Afghanistan], August 11 (ANI): At least 30 Taliban insurgents were killed after their own suicide vests exploded at a gathering in Afghanistan's Farah province. "A group of Taliban fighters and their suicide bombers had gathered in the Bala Bolok district in the north-eastern parts of the province to plot an attack against the government forces when two suicide vests and other explosives blew up during their meeting," the Tolo News quoted Farah Governor's Spokesman Naser Mehri, as saying. Mehri said that 30 Taliban fighters, including a number of local commanders, were killed in the explosion. The Taliban, however, has not commented on the incident so far. (ANI)
