Colombo [Sri Lanka], Dec.28 (ANI): The Sri Lankan government has declared December 30 as the national day of mourning for the death of former Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake. Earlier, the day of mourning was fixed for December 31.

Colombo [Sri Lanka], Dec.28 (ANI): The Sri Lankan government has declared December 30 as the national day of mourning for the death of former Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake. Earlier, the day of mourning was fixed for December 31. According to the Colombo Post, the funeral of Wickremanayake, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 83, will be held in Horana on December 31 with full state honors on the instructions of President Maithripala Sirisena. His mortal remains will be kept in the Sri Lanka Parliament complex from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for parliamentarians to pay their respects. (ANI)
