Colombo [Sri Lanka], Nov. 20 (ANI): Four foreign nationals, three Maldivians and a Pakistani, were arrested in Mount Lavinia by Sri Lanka's Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) for the possession of two kilograms of heroin worth Rs. 20 million during a raid conducted early this morning.

Colombo [Sri Lanka], Nov. 20 (ANI): Four foreign nationals, three Maldivians and a Pakistani, were arrested in Mount Lavinia by Sri Lanka's Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) for the possession of two kilograms of heroin worth Rs. 20 million during a raid conducted early this morning. The four were arrested on information received from suspects, who were already in custody and are believed to be involved in a drug smuggling operation between Sri Lanka and the Maldives, reports Colombo Page. Acting Police Media Director Deputy Inspector General of Police Priyantha Jayakody said that the Pakistani national who is suspected to be the main handler was also arrested earlier on a visa violation. The suspect would be further detained for questioning after they were produced in court, the police said. (ANI)
