Dhaka [Bangladesh], Dec. 28 (ANI): Six Bangladeshi fishermen were injured in firing by Myanmar's border troopers near St Martin's Island. It was reported that Myanmar's border troopers had intruded into Bangladeshi waters and opened fire on two fishing boats. The Dhaka Tribune quoted a police official, as saying that a team of Myanmar border guards entered Bangladeshi waters and opened fire on the fishermen, leaving six of them injured. The injured fishermen were given a first aid by the army personnel and later sent to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. (ANI)
