Sindh HC stays removal of provincial police chief
Karachi [Pakistan], Dec.28 (ANI): The Sindh High Court on Wednesday stopped the provincial government from sending Inspector General of Police (IGP) A D Khawaja on "forced leave". A bench headed by Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah issued a stay order against the top cop's removal during the hearing of a petition. The court, according to the Dawn, issued notices to Khawaja and the Sindh government directing them to file their responses by the next hearing. The hearing has been adjourned till January 12. Last week, the Sindh government sent the provincial police chief on "forced leave" due to his reported differences with the Murad Ali Shah administration primarily over postings and transfers in the police department.(ANI)

Iran does not need sophisticated long-range missiles to defend this corridor; short-range missiles, torpedoes, and mines can easily sink high-value naval assets.

MEA rejects Pakistan’s statement on India-Canada deal

"We reject this statement made by Pakistan on the matter. India's credentials regarding non-proliferation are impeccable and well recognised by the global community. A country with a well-documented history of clandestine nuclear proliferation can hardly preach the virtues of export controls and proliferation risks. Such ludicrous statements are nothing more than an attempt by Pakistan to distract from its own abysmal record," he said.
