Naypyidaw [Myanmar], Dec. 13 (ANI): A reporter for Eleven Media was found dead on the side of the road on Tuesday near Monywa golf course. According to the The Myanmar Times, Police Lieutenant Thein Swe Myint said that Monywa-based reporter Ko Soe Moe Tun's body was found on Pyidaungsu Road. The victim was bruised and had wounds on his head. Police suspect the reporter was murdered but have not identified a suspect or motives. "The victim was a reporter from Eleven Media. We are still investigating the reason for the killing and what the motives are. Our police are at the site of the incident. The case will be handled by the Monywa Central police force," said the Police Lieutenant. Ko Min Thant, the victim's colleague and the Mandalay bureau chief at Eleven Media, said that Ko Soe Moe Tun had been tracking down a story about illegal logging and wood smuggling at the time of his death.
