Moscow [Russia], May 9 (ANI): Relatives of a Palestinian boy who was burned alive with his parents in a West Bank arson attack in 2015, have filed a suit for criminal negligence against the State of Israel, demanding $2.8 million in compensation. Israeli extremists set fire to the Dawabsha family home and 18-month old Ali Saad was killed instantly while his parents were seriously injured in the blaze and died in hospital months later, Russian Today reported. The attack took place in the village of Kafr Duma near the West Bank city of Nablus. The firebombing killed Ahmed Dawabsheh's 18- month old brother, Ali his father Saad and his mother Riham. The brutal incident of West Bank sparked outrage throughout the world and inflamed tensions in the West Bank. The only surviving member of the family, Ahmed had to undergo months of treatment for serious burns. "Relatives of the Dawabsha family filed a lawsuit against the State of Israel at the Nazareth district court on Monday," Russia Today reported citing Tawfiq Muhammed from the Gaza based Al-Mezan Centre for Human rights. The Dawabsha family lays all the responsibility on the State of Israel for the act of terror in which members of the Dawabsha family were murdered-including the father, mother and son Ali- and also for Ahmed injuries, Russian Today reported.(ANI)
