Ready to play 'mediator' in resolving Kashmir issue: Pakistan
Islamabad [Pakistan], Jan. 27 (ANI): Pakistan has said that have always welcomed the offers to play the role of a mediator to resolve the issue of Kashmir. "We have always welcomed the offers to play the role of a mediator to resolve the issue of Kashmir and other contentious issues between Pakistan and India," said Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria. He further said Kashmir is a core issue between India and Pakistan and is also the main matter of concern to the world community. Responding to a question on United States President Donald Trump imposing restrictions on the entry of the nationals of some Muslim countries citing Islamic terrorism as reason, Zakaria said, the context of assigning terrorism to one religion, we have always maintained that terrorists have no religion, faith, cast, creed, colour or ethnicity. He added that all countries need to work together as one to get rid of the scourge of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Zakaria reiterated that terrorism is a global phenomenon and requires global cooperation to fight this menace. (ANI)
