Pakistan: One soldier dead in twin suicide attacks at Shabqadar's FC centre
Islamabad [Pakistan], Feb. 17 (ANI): At least one paramilitary soldier was killed and two others injured on Friday in twin suicide attacks on a Frontier Constabulary Centre in Shabqadar. The FC centre is located in the Ayesha Korona area of Charsadda district on the confluence of Mohammad Agency. The Express Tribune quoted DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid as saying that two suicide bombers were killed during the attack. "One security personnel was also killed," he added. Last month a suicide bombing at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar's shrine in Sehwan killed over 70 people and wounded scores of others. Following the attack, Pakistan had raised the issue of Afghan-based groups involved in terrorist activities in the country. The Pakistan Army had handed over a list of wanted 76 TTP and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) terror suspects living in hideouts along the Pakistan-Afghan border to Kabul. Afghanistan then responded by sending a list of 85 Taliban and Haqqani network 'commanders', allegedly residing in Pakistan and linked any action against TTP and JuA terrorists to "verifiable action" by Pakistan. MEA rejects Pakistan’s statement on India-Canada deal

"We reject this statement made by Pakistan on the matter. India's credentials regarding non-proliferation are impeccable and well recognised by the global community. A country with a well-documented history of clandestine nuclear proliferation can hardly preach the virtues of export controls and proliferation risks. Such ludicrous statements are nothing more than an attempt by Pakistan to distract from its own abysmal record," he said.
