Sheikhupura [Pakistan], Jan. 7 (ANI): At least six alleged terrorists of banned outfits were killed by the personnel of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in a targeted operation in the wee hours of Saturday. However, three accomplices of the suspected terrorists managed to escape from the site due to low visibility, reports Geo News. The operation was carried out near Faisalabad road bypass in Sheikhupura. According to a CTD spokesman, the operation was carried out after getting information on the presence of miscreants in the region. The spokesman added that at least six militants were shot dead after an exchange of heavy fire and three managed to escape due to bad light. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the alleged terrorists in the operation. (ANI)
