Nepal-India EPG meets to begin from tomorrow in New Delhi

Kathmandu [Nepal], Oct. 3 (ANI): Members of the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) from Nepal on Nepal-India Relations left for New Delhi on Monday to participate in the bilateral body's second meeting scheduled to take place from Tuesday.

Nepal-India EPG meets to begin from tomorrow in New Delhi
Kathmandu [Nepal], Oct. 3 (ANI): Members of the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) from Nepal on Nepal-India Relations left for New Delhi on Monday to participate in the bilateral body's second meeting scheduled to take place from Tuesday. Foreign affairs expert Bhesh Bahadur Thapa is leading the team which includes former minister and constitutional expert Nelamber Acharya, lawmaker Rajan Bhattarai and former Commissioner for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Surya Nath Upadhyay, reports The Himalyan Times. According to lawmaker Bhattarai, Nepal, in the meeting, would recommend to review the 1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship. India in the previous meeting of the EPG, held in Nepal in last July, had said it was ready to revise the treaty and asked Nepal to come up with a proposal towards this end. (ANI)
