Dhaka [Bangladesh], Sept. 5 (ANI): The Bangladesh Police have detained four suspected female suicide-squad members, including a mother and two daughters, of the banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Baraigram of Sirajganj district. Jihadi books were found in possession of the suspects, reports the Dhaka Tribune. In a press briefing on Monday, Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge (OC) M. Wahiduzzaman, who led the drive with Second Officer Sub-Inspector Rawshan Ali, said a police team on Sunday night raided listed JMB leader Faridul's house, which was kept under surveillance after he had gone missing last year, and detained the four with jihadi books and a computer. District Police Superintendent Miraz Uddin said the detainees are members of JMB suicide squad and they have confessed that they were ready to use suicide vests on call from the JMB high command. He said from the information found in the seized computer, police came to know that the detainees used to practice Kung Fu and Karate fighting styles. (ANI)
