Emirates confirms crash landing of its plane, says passengers safe, expects 4-hour network delay

Dubai, Aug.3 (ANI): Confirming that all passengers onboard the crashlanded flight EK521 were safe and were being taken care of in an isolated zone in Dubai airport, the Emirates said in a statement, "Emirates can confirm that today, 3rd August 2016, flight EK521 travelling from Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai has been involved in an accident at Dubai International Airport. There were 282 passengers and 18 crew on board."

The main priority remains with those involved and offering support to concerned family and friends."
