Cairo [Egypt] Jul. 9 (ANI): Two policemen were killed and nine others were injured in a blast in the north of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. As per a local media agency, an armored vehicle carrying the law enforcers exploded when it was crossing through the El Safaa district of the city of Arish. Following the blast the security of the area has been increased. Two car bombs exploded at a checkpoint in northern Sinai, which claimed the lives of 23 servicemen. Security forces later killed over 40 terrorists in clashes. (ANI)
