Chopper crash in Bangladesh's Cox Bazar kills one

Dhaka [Bangladesh], Sept. 16 (ANI): At least one person was killed and four others injured after a chopper of Meghna Aviation Limited crashed in Ukhia upazila of Bangladesh Cox's Bazar today.

Chopper crash in Bangladesh's Cox Bazar kills one
Dhaka [Bangladesh], Sept. 16 (ANI): At least one person was killed and four others injured after a chopper of Meghna Aviation Limited crashed in Ukhia upazila of Bangladesh Cox's Bazar today. Abul Khayer, officer-in-charge of Ukhia Police Station said that the chopper crashed around 10:30 a.m. local time in Redu Khal area near Inani sea-beach of Ukhia upazila. "We rescued the five in critical condition and rushed them to Ukhia Upazila Health Complex," the Daily Star quoted Khayer as saying. He added that the victim succumbed to his injuries after he was shifted to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. Those injured are undergoing treatment at Ukhia Upazila Health Complex. The reason behind the crash is yet to be ascertained. (ANI)
