Charsadda blast death toll rises to seven
Charsadda [Pakistan], Feb 21 (ANI): The death from the three blasts that took place outside a court in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Charsadda district today has risen to seven. Geo News quoted Charsadda District Police Officer (DPO) Sohail Khalid, as saying that security forces had killed two terrorists, while a third terrorist blew himself outside the court complex. The blasts follow an increase in terror attacks in the country that have claimed more than 100 lives in the last 10 days. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the attack, saying that Pakistan is a steadfast nation and they will not be deterred by such attacks. Lauding the efforts of security officials, Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, said the response of the first tier police had saved many lives. (ANI)
