Kabul [Afghanistan], Nov. 12 (ANI): At least three people were killed and 13 others were injured in an explosion at the Bagram Airbase outside Afghanistan capital Kabul on Saturday.

Kabul [Afghanistan], Nov. 12 (ANI): At least three people were killed and 13 others were injured in an explosion at the Bagram Airbase outside Afghanistan capital Kabul on Saturday. According to eyewitnesses a rocket struck the Bagram base, which is the largest U.S. base in the country. Bagram district governor Abdul Shokor Qoudosi, confirmed the incident and said that it took place when Afghan workers were getting ready to start work at the base. Resolute Support also confirmed the incident in a statement. "We can confirm that there was an explosion at Bagram Airfield this morning just after 5:30 am. There have been casualties," Tolo news quoted the statement as saying. Medical teams have been dispatched to the scene of the incident. So far, Afghan security officials have not confirmed about the incident. (ANI)
